Amplify
Amplify is an ed-tech company that creates a broad range of curriculum and formative assessment products for educators.
As a visual designer in the marketing department, I assisted Amplify through the early transitional phases following a major rebrand by Area 17. To bring Amplify’s eight separate product departments into alignment with Area 17’s new brand guidelines while still maintaining their distinct identities, I collaborated with the marketing design team to create mini identity toolkits to expand the branding system for each department’s needs.
Amplify ELA (English Language Arts) offers students from grades 6-8 an exploratory approach to discovering literature, through interactive graphic novel-style interfaces including the work of dozens of artists and illustrators. A team including an art director and two designers besides myself created a system, called “The Literary Journey,” that weaves together this rich diversity of work to create a consistent experience across the curriculum platform and associated marketing and sales collateral.
